One Bite Away

Brewlicious โ One Bite Away from a Happier, Sustainable Moment
During my third year studying Communication & Multimedia Design at Hogeschool Utrecht, I collaborated with Jasmin van Emmerloot, Bregje Schoenmakers, and Mirte Brouwer on a project for Brewliciousโa brand that creates healthy snacks using spent grain from the beer brewing process. Their mission is to reduce food waste and promote sustainable snacking. Our challenge was to develop a campaign and website that would increase brand awareness and clearly communicate their message to the target audience.
Through user research, competitive analysis, and creative brainstorming methods like Crazy 8 and Random Word Picker, we created the concept One Bite Away. This campaign invites users to discover that with just one bite, theyโre not only enjoying a tasty snack but also contributing to a healthier and more sustainable lifestyle.
As part of the campaign, we designed an in-store activation where floor stickers form a trail leading customers to the Brewlicious shelf. Each sticker shows a cookie with a bite taken out of itโsymbolizing that you’re always one bite away from something better. This playful and interactive approach grabs attention and brings the brand story to life right where purchasing decisions are made.
To support the campaign online, I also designed an interactive infographic in the same visual style as the stickers. On the website, users can hover over sticker-like icons to reveal more information about the Brewlicious production process โmaking the experience both educational and engaging.
My role in this project included:
- Translating research insights into engaging and clear visual outputs within the campaign concept
- Creating sketches, wireframes, and interactive prototypes using Adobe XD
- Conducting user testing and analyzing feedback to refine designs
- Developing visual storytelling elements such as in-store stickers and website infographics
