Hey, I’m Ilse Kors — and welcome to my portfolio!
I’m a Dutch designer from Amersfoort and studied Communication and Multimedia Design (CMD) in Utrecht. I’m someone who’s always creating something — whether that’s designing, editing videos, shooting pictures or building fun and engaging campaigns. I love bringing ideas to life in a way that makes people smile, feel or get inspired.

In my free time you’ll probably find me cosplaying, behind a camera, or dreaming up new concepts. I get excited about good stories, powerful visuals and anything that brings imagination to the real world.

Storytelling and immersive design are two of my biggest interests. I discovered this during my CMD studies — I followed a minor and later specialized in immersive experiences. That’s where I realized: I don’t just want to make things that look nice, I want to make things that really work. That connect with people. That solve a problem, tell a story, or leave a lasting impression.

I’m always curious and love learning new things. Whether I’m exploring a new tool, diving into design tutorials, or experimenting with a new medium — I’m happiest when I’m growing. Lately, I’ve been focusing a lot on graphic design and DTP work to sharpen my eye for layout and detail. But I’m also eager to keep developing my skills in video and animation — there’s always something new to try, and that’s what keeps it exciting.

I really enjoy working with others — especially when we can brainstorm together and bounce ideas around. I get a lot of energy from that creative process. For me, it’s not just about making something that looks good, but about creating something that really fits the core of a question or challenge. I love finding smart, creative solutions that go deeper than just the surface. Things that truly work for the client, and actually make a difference.
