A futuristic short movie where two contestants get picked for a horrifying TV show called “The Reaping”. I worked together with a classmate to develop the story and create the movie.
I created this short movie for my Minor: Creative Storytelling together with my classmate Sandra Verjans.
In a world with overpopulation, the countries have reunited to
create a way to indiscriminately pick random people above 16 in
the reaping. This happens once a month in every single region
around the world. The movie follows the main character Mia as
she gets picked for this show, together with her girlfriend Riley.
Together they spend their last moments before one of them
unfortunately dies.
