In my first year of my study I had to create a promotion campaign for an artist. This was one of my favorite projects because I love music.

For this campaign I created a different world to promote a tour for the artist Poppy. I planned out when the concerts should have been given, how the posters and website should look and did research about the targeted audience.

The story I created for the Poppy tour was about Doctors and Glitchers. At first I wanted to work with a glitch effect, because Poppy’s music is a bit electronic, metal and overall has a creepy-like vibe. This is why I wanted to create something futuristic that matched this vibe. That’s how I came to the idea to make use of a glitch-effect.

Eventually I created a story about Doctors and Glitchers. Depending on which QR-code you would scan as user you would go to a different website. One website that promoted the Doctors as ‘good’ and one that promoted the Glitchers as ‘good’. In the story it is about the Glitchers who are the rebels and the Doctors who want to take over the world. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The end idea was that for the concert, the people who scanned the Doctors QR-code would dress all in white and the people who scanned the Glitchers QR-code would dress in black.
